RockBand, what do I need: PS2 or 3?

Does the game 'RockBand' only for work xbox360 or PS3 or does it work for playstation 2??? Also I know that Guitar Hero 1 & 2 work on playstation 2 but does Guitar Hero 3 work on 2? I like the game a lot I just dont own a playstation 1, 2 or 3 so I just dont wanna waste money on a playstation 2 if I can't play Rock Band on it, but if I can play them all on 2 that would be sweet, thats the only game I like!!!

the best resolution is on ps3 and xbox 360 but the came out with a ps 2 version for guitar hero 3 and rock band which works pretty well just not the same graphics
