Rock Myths

It's actually fairly common knowledge that some people (apparently mainly women) used (or still continue to use, maybe) wet diapers and rub them on their faces to reduce wrinkles. I think I head about this on MythBusters or something, and they found out that it does indeed work for many people, and that the practice has been around for a long while - something about the ammonia in piss or some crazy sh*t like that.

Don't know about shotting them into a crowd, but Ted frequently shoots arrows at a bulls-eye target while performing on stage.

Well apparently hotel california was meant to be a concept album dealing with the pros and cons of fame and fortune...So the satanist thing is likely not true.

The Marianne Faithful Mars bar story apparently never happened.
But...the death of Brian Jones is supposed to have been more a case of manslaughter than accidental drowning, at the hanRAB of an over enthusiastic roadie or someone, larking about in the pool with him, who is now dead. I think they are in the process of making a film about this now.

My wife believed, as a small child, that Mama Cass had exploded due to overeating, because her dad told her this.

Jimmy Page was, supposedly a Satanist and/or heavily into the occult, and apparently purchased a mansion on the Loch Ness in Scotland that was once owned by renowned Satanist Aleister Crowley).

on the side with Frank Zappa on the anti-drugs position, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley from Kiss are very against drugs, as well.

Yo Right Track - Hope you Well.

I heard that Jimi Hendrix used to soak his headband in LSD before going on stage. It may well be a known fact but there you go.

In a similar story I heard that Billy Idol used to have LSD flavoured wallpaper and when his mates came round they used to have a good lick. By Wallpaper I mean the wallpaper you paste on a wall, not the wallpaper you decorate a computer screen with. That would just be daft. Imagine Billy & his Pals licking a computer monitor!!! :)
(by the way I don't advocate the use of LSD)

Jimmy Paige DID buy Aleister Crowley's mansion - It was featured in the "Song Remains the Same" movie that Zep did - He even has a scene by this pond where his eyes turn read

I didn`t think it was too bad , it quickly disappeared up it`s own arse after about 45 mins.

And by the time Placebo came on & crapped over T-Rex`s 20th Century Boy I just wanted to put my fist through the screen.

I heard a rumour that one of those little ****ers from McFly bathes in his own piss to keep his young complection???????????????????????????????

Thats just plain scummy!!!!

It would be bilogocially impossible, when getting ones stomach pumped, to know if there was sperm in there. The components of sperm are ingredients that exist in the body. In the acidic cess pool of the human stomach, the sperm would simply break down to their components. You could make assumtions, but sperm wouldn't survive in there.

Paul McCartney is dead! We researched this at school. Apparently he had a car accident, was rushed to hospital and died. The Paul McCartney that we see is a lookalike. He has a scar on his body that the original McCartney never had, apparently. Some of the early newspapers on that day printed the story, but were pulled off the shelves thanks to a hell of a lot of money. If you look on some of their album covers it shows some interesting clues. On the Abbey Road cover, it shows Paul walking with no shoes. Then on the Sgt, Peppers Lonely Hearts Band cover, in some of the original copies if you hold it in front of the mirror you can supposedly see in the drum skin Paul Is Dead, with an arrow pointing to him. And also in one of their songs if you play it backwarRAB you can apparently hear Lennon say 'Paul is Dead.' These are actually all true, but many believe that The Beatles just did this to increase hype.
