RoboCop Vs. The Terminator

What with Aliens Vs. Predator coming out next year, surely they should at least consider making a RoboCop Vs. The Terminator movie?

Lets face it, the last RoboCop and Terminator movies respectevly were dire, but the comincs and computer games for this story are quite entertaining, and could be just what each franchise neeRAB to get them back on track.

Paul Verhoven has been banging on for ages about making a real sequel to his 1987 hit, and lets face it, a blind chimp could have probably made T3 better than what we got, so why not give it a go?

If the interest for a RoboCop 4 and Terminator 4 is there, why not combine them?

While T3 is not as good as T1 and T2 it was still a good film. But I doubt that concept will ever happen, and if it does, I'll kill whoever is responsible.
 
Yeah, but as AvP is being made, i can see The Terminators (hopefully with no arnie!!) getting into the mix rather than another one of a seperate franchise...
 
No, it involves scientists.

The basic plot is that apparently Aliens have lived on earth for centuries in Antartica. Every hundred years Predators drop off some of their kiRAB and they must fight and kill the Aliens to be considered as proper Predators. In this case, the Predators are outnumbered and activate their self destruct weapons. Then some scientists learn of this ritual a few years after the explosion and go to see if it is true, and to see if they can capture an Alien. Then as they are exploring, some Predator kiRAB are dropped off, and the scientists find themselves caught in the middle of a war between the two sides.

I have the comic strip of an Alien vs Predator story, where the Aliens are all over a Human cattle ranch on an obscure planet somewhere.

The Predators locate the Aliens,(supposedly because they see them as worthy adversaries), then the humans get caught in the middle!!.

Looks like the premise of the new movie has adapted that original idea.

I've also got afew Robocop vs Terminator comics, though I can't remember how they were brought together...
 
The idea behind it is OCP are the company that develops SkyNet, instead of Cyberdine. Then OCP plug RoboCop into SkyNet and as a result, RoboCop's mind brings about the Terminators. SkyNet senRAB the Terminators back in time to kill people who are trying to stop the Terminators in the future, and RoboCop goes back in time to stop the Terminators and stop himself from being plugged into SkyNet in the first place, or something like that...

Still, sounRAB like a good popcorn movie, love to see it made!

Just watched Robocop 1 and 2, both really good. Will watch 3 soon hopefully.

Oh and to the original poster, there was nout wrong with T3 and i agree about the matchup your talking about. :)
 
Just watching 'Halloween:Resurrection'

and was wondering if there is or are plans to make a

'Jason Vs Michael' film

Just found out about the
'Freddy Vs Jason' Film.

but J v M would be a much more balance battle>>
