I have to do an essay on Henry . Lee and his views on Lincolns "impeachment" If i could get some feedback on how lee would feel about some of the accusations that would be awesome!
1)Issuing the Emancipation proclamation
2) Call for the signing of a draft bill
3)Undermining war effort by selecting poor officers and interfering with their judgments.
4)Violating liberties in the suspension of Habeus corpus, his military courts in areas where civilian courts were in session, his suppression of dissenting newspapers, and over reaction to draft riots.
