Robert Downey Jr to play Lestat

I actually think, this would be perfect casting he has that air of bad boy about himand could play this character. What do people think.

I always think it's a mistake to re-cast a character that has been successfully played by someone else. He'll forever be compared to Tom Cruise. Besides, I don't think Downey is right for the role at all.

I love RDJ, but I don't think he looks right for the part. Stuart Townsend and Tom Cruise have a thin-featured, slightly feminine look that really suited the role.. I don't think RDJ falls into that category. He's too wide-eyed/regular-featured or something? Can't really explain it..
