With the 100 min or 200 min roaming plan, what happens when you use up all the minutes? Does your call drop? Does the call continue at an overage rate? Can you buy more "buckets" of roaming minutes within the bill cycle?
once you use up the minutes included extra time is 39 cents per minute out of your flex bucket. if you don't have enough funRAB in your flex bucket the call will end. if 200 is not enough for you every month you can also add the older roaming minutes plans $15 add additional 120 $10 aRAB additional 70 and $5 adRAB additional 30
do you have to enter a code to roam like you did before the new roaming plans? Or does your phone automaticly roam when you leave the Cricket area(assuming that your phone is not on home only and the prl is loaded). I saw a W315 for sale at a local flea market for 30 bucks and am thinking of picking it up but roaming is a must for me. Can you add the buckets of minutes mid bill cycle?
there is no code required in MOST areas. what i was told is only in really rural areas you might still need to enter the code 2929 (AWAY). In MOST areas if you just dial the nuraber it will work(single stage dialing).. first it will say 'thank you for using cricket you have xx minutes to complete the call' then you will be connected.
ANY changes done mid bill cycle will be prorated. i.e. if you change halfway through you are charged only 50% for the month and if it is a limited service (like International minutes or roaming minutes) you will receive only 50% of the minutes for that month.
as long as you have the roaming prl on the phone and the roaming option on the account you should be good to go. the issue with flashed phones is that some me not be able to download the prl via *228, and thus it is an unsupported feature.
