Watching The Witches just now !! Fantastic film.

Can't wait till tomorrow to see the original willy wonka.

Not a big fan of danny champion of the world so didn't bother watching that.

But james and the giant peach was good.
 
I got all them on video apart from James and the Giant Peach.
The Witches is good but the new Charlie film beats the old one.
 
The reason this is actually being shown I'm guessing is because of the release of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this week.

I missed The Witches :(

At least I can see James and the Giant peach tomorrow though. Great movie.
 
Well it's nearly over but Willy Wonka is still fantastic. And no matter how good the new verison is, that one is still a classic. So much tongue-in-cheek humour :)
 
I was in the kitchen (getting something to eat) just before the end and could only hear bits... Did they cut the lifting lemonade bit? I didnt hear them burping (that bit always makes me cringe)

i loved roald dahl's books as a child, and the films were good too. i hope the new charlie and the chocolate factory is as good if not better than the 70's one. either way, i still think ill be getting the dvd on play!
