road legal pit bike help please?

pit bikes/ thumpstars cannot be made road legal.

* Tires don't pass road worthy test
* Don't have blinkers, speedo, mirror, horn, lights etc
* Too small to be seen via vision mirrors

Sorry they are strictly made for the bush, ride em on the road but they cannot be legalized
 
I want to get a pit bike and make it roadlegal for when im 17, would this be easy to turn the bike road legal and how easy would it be to register and get insurance on? thanks
i live in the uk and yes t can be done because so many people do it near where i live i always see them riding around on them...
