You might enjoy this thread. One of the posters added some risers and provided some nice pictures http://www.hdforums.com/forum/touring-models/560594-road-king-bars-with-risers.html

This is my '05 Road King Custom with the Chrome Road King High Handlebars - they make this same bar for newer throttle-by-wire bikes too. The seat is a HD Tallboy...I don't really care for the way it looks, but it sure is comfortable.

I had a '10 Road King and put "Heritage Style" bars (not heritage bars) on it. They have 3 more inches of pullback and they are very comfortable-no leaning forward and breaking your back. Part # 56902-08

I put a Mustang Vintage Solo seat on it. This a great seat - ride all day.

Here's mine with the "heritage" style bars and a Danny Gray Speed Cradle Solo. The bars are a huge improvement comfort wise from the stockers. Will probably switch to apes later though. I love the solo seat. It moved me forward and down, to help my short a**ed self fit this bike better. The seat is a bit stiff, but even after a 14hr ride earlier this year, It wasn't uncomfortable.
