Road King Custom Upgrades...

I can't begin to tell you how much I love it! I was undecided on the 14"/16" dilemma but very happy I went with the 16's. Getting ready to go to the Grand Canyon this week, that will be the real test. So far only regret is I didn't do it sooner.

Thought I would revive an old thread. This is my 2007 RK Custom, though I have added a set of highway pegs and swapped out the crappy H-D rider backrest for a Mustang. I traded in my 2003 Road Glide for this bike, and have never regretted it. As soon as I took this bike for a test ride I knew that it was the bike that I had been looking for. It just fits me. It had 6100 miles on it when I bought it 2.5 months ago, and I am just about to turn 9k miles. I ride it everywhere!

Previous owner had already added the detachable sissybar/luggage rack, short smoked windscreen and Rinehart exhaust, so not much that I want to add.
 
My 05 RK Custom. Bought the bike on eBay a few years ago. Purchased the SE bags on eBay too. Bought each bag individually. Found the right one then found the left one a few months later.

A clear title would be the best upgrade you could make. Cams, bars,etc would be much nicer on something you own free and clear...Enjoy the ride.
