Road Glide owners...How do you like your bikes?

It looks as if this is finally the page about riding and not about how the scoot looks parked outside a tavern or on a trailer! Mine should be in any day now.
 
Knock on wood, mine will be in tomorrow.

Just in time for the "severe weather" the local forecasters have been predicting for the past week. [sm=headbang.gif]
 
Ive had my 05 for a week now, and Im in love. I feel like this bike was build just for me at 6'3" 295 lbs.
I have apes, and high freeway pegs, the only other thing im considering is a low profile seat so i can sit lower.

I rode for 6 hours with no back or neck pain or strain. Its perfect!
 
bought the 06 just about a year ago for an addition to my 96 heritage. sold the heritage a month later, I love this thing it is the most comfortable bike i have ever owned and I have had a few. 8 hours on the roadglide = 1 hour on the heritage comfort wise.
 
Asfar as Harleys go it doesn't get any better then the RG.

A few things to consider for tall riders, I'm 6'4.Harley extended floor board kit pushes your boards 2 inches forward. E-zbrake gives you more foot room. I have a HD rally runner seat which seats me lower and further back.I pushed my handle bars forwardas far as they would go without hitting my clearview screen. I have a 1 inch shorter then stock clearview screen which works great with my loweredseat position. Extended shifter without the heal shift. Bike fits like a glove.
 
Just got back yesterday from 1600 miles on 07 RG from KY thru TENN. ALB. MISS,FL,GEorgia. Love it I also have 03RK that I hope to always keep. The EG faring is to in your face for me. It makes me feel closed in.I do have an EG seat for my wife which looks awful but she loves it so we comparmised an use it. Put on some old SE slip ons and she screams now.
 
I love to see all the positives. I just got a RG in August and I put 10 K on it before the snow came. Someone mentioned how well the handle at slow speeds , and boy was he right. You feel like you can lean it down and turn it around on a dime.The radio rocks and makes the rides go by even faster , which may or may not be good!
 
Fantasic bikes. I have 25,000 mi on mine. Lots that you can do with them.

I have 4k and one 1k trip on mine so farit has been the most comfortable bike I have ever owned.

My only complaint is the windshield (which I have replaced). It was very distorted and prone to buffeting .
