Hi,
I have decided I want a road/racing style bike. I don't want to spend loads and I am not looking for perfection by any means. My budget is about £280 for a new bike (not much I know) and I would like to buy from a proper shop in London.
(1) So far I have seen the Decathlon B'Twin Sport 1 for £269. Has anyone got any feedback for this bike?
(2) What are decathlon bikes like generally? Do they ever do discount vouchers/offers from time to time?
(3) Do shops like Evans Cycles, Cycle Surgery, Action Bikes etc in London ever do road bikes for less than £300, in their sales/previous yrs unsold bikes (e.g. a 2009 one if 2010 is out) or is this optimistic?
