road biker

hello, have been reading up on road biking for the past week, and am getting one soon. however i was rly blown away from the range of models of road bikes on the net. and i am really hoping to get professional advice on which bike would be most suitable for a first timer like me. So it'd be really helpful if you guys are able to name out specific models from the brands.

things to note - hopefully you guys could pick out models from c'dale, trek, giant, diamondbacks? i heard they r the leading brands out there.
also, im Female, age 17, 1.6M tall, and have about say SGD1.5K to spare. (also ill be getting the bike from a local bike store, so no worries about not fitting, i just need the models to try out in the bike store!) TY!!
