Road bike chain noise.?

My chain recently starting making a whirring-type noise, and it only happens when I pedal. It's not rubbing on anything. Sometimes the real derailleur jumps, which also makes a (different) noise, but I already know I have adjust the B screw for that. I clean my chain every 600 miles, and lube it every 300 miles (200 miles/week). I'm running a sram chain, d.a. cassette, and 105 derailleurs. My rear derailleur is a little crooked, bent inward a little at the bottom. I honestly don't know how old the chain is, at least a year and a half I think... any ideas/suggestions on what the problem is?
 
Check the idler pulleys on the derailleur, they get gummed up and can cause noise. Oil your chain only after you clean it. Oiling a dirty chain will wash the grit into the chain and cause wear.
