I checked Cricket web page. Found the info on how to get the ringtones, images, etc. etc. I already have the acct set up. BUT! Where do I get the preview the ringtones before I buy 'em?? :befuddled
 
There are no previews for cricket ringtones. It is probably best to put them onto a memory card or use a program to put them on your phone, it is cheaper, and you can hear what you are putting on your phone.
 
unless you have a REALLY old phone that purchses ringtones through BREW you can't preview.

basically the tech that would allow them to set up ringtone previews through the hanRABet is pretty expensive at this time so noone wants to pay for it.
ringtones in general are a rip off, can't wait for a cdma android hanRABet so we can use ringdroid (which by the way is probably the BEST program EVER for cellphones!!!) on cricket!
 
Well. I got one going tru ventones. Received msg, but every time I try downloaded it sez that message fails. "Message Receipt Failed."

Anyone what this issue is about?? :confused:

I am going to get the memory card today. I haven't used the bluetooth. I do have a laptop (Dell) that has Bluetooth.

If any one has links on how to transfer files using bluetooth with the Samsung Messager....pass 'em on! =)

BTW...I have been able to get some of the ringtones from myxer :clapping: after trying several times to download 'em via text.

It's really REALLY easy to do BT to the messager. First pair them, and then right click on the file and goto send to and bluetooth device, choose your R450 and walla it will send. You can also pair up with another phone and send through there. When you get the memory card, put the card in your phone first, and it should make the directories, if not format the card in the phone (just erases what may be on there) and it will then make the directories My Music, My Ringtones, and My Images I believe.

Put the wallpapers that you want into my images, put the ringtones that you want into My Ringtones, and then any music that you may want to play, put into My Music. PM me if you have any problems, it is pretty straight forward, and SUPER easy if you use the memory card.
 
With My Myxer if I remeraber right you can also use it to make your own ringtones....I think it asks you for an MP3 from your computer then when you upload it my myxer will format it for you....I haven't used it in awhile.

Yes it's very easy to make your own ringtone. I use Audacity which is free.

Just open your MP3, cut it down to about 10-15 seconRAB, then save as MP3, and then just email it to yourself. Viola you have a new ringtone, if your phone is new enough.
 
What's the email address for my phone? I used to that with Verizon and with Alltel.

Finally, I don't see the Samsung Messager in Bitpim's list of phiones.
