I read a little about ring flashes, it seems to me they are better fitted for macro and close up photography, I've checked some out there as cheap as $49. Can these flashes be used for taking pictures at a night club? can these flashes be used for glamour photography? what are the benefits of this flash and what is better used for? I have a Canon 40D with a Canon 28-105 F3.5-4.5
