Right wording for buffet lunch party?

I am having my sons 5 year birthday party at our local pizza place. I am reserving the party room, and will be serving cake and ice cream. I am doing it for lunch time and children 5 and under (all of his friends) will eat buffet free, but the parents will need to pay for their own buffet lunch. How do I word this in the invitation? It is a surprise lunch party and here is the wording I have for it as of now.

"Please join us for a surprise lunch for (my son) 5th birthday party! We will have cake and ice cream and fun!"

Do I need to put in that kids eat free? that the parents will be paying for themselves?
What is "Tacky, very tacky?" We've done this at other friend's birthdays, just a lunch. But they didnt have anything written out, just name..time..and place, and it was just implied when we got there. I am doing a picture invitation where it doesn't have the spaces to write those things.
I will purchase 2 pizzas for the parents who don't want to buy a buffet, so that those children can still eat and participate in the party. I've never been to a kid party that catered to the parents, if there was pizza left or something, sure the parents were welcome to it. I forgot to put that i'm only going to be inviting about 5 or 6 kids, and their parents are our friends, so I don't think anyone would think it's tacky for a party that way.
