right now i am playing a game on my playstation 3 and....?

the game screen is frozen. what can i do to get it un-frozen and work again? also i want to take it out to fix it but if i do that wont i lose my game?
Help I am really far into the game and I dont wanna lose it!
 
Restart your PS3. Sony is working on a firmware update (2.50, also when Playstation Home is coming out!), to fix this.
 
if the screen froze all u can do is see if u can turn it off from the controller i mean exit the game if it doesnt work then i would go and hold down the ps3 button on the console and shut it off wait a sec then turn it back on this happens 2 mine sometimes its terrible
