Riding a bike to burning man from Los Angeles?

This will be my 3 year going to Burning Man and I'm thinking of riding my bike from Los Angeles. I have a Trek road bike and have done some long distance riding before. Sooo I'm wondering if anyone else has done this before and what there route might have been or any other suggestions.
