Happened about 2 hours ago in Severna Park, MD.
Riding his Benelli, Rt2 South just b4 College Pkwy, Car pulls out of a Liquor store (FishPaws) and TBoned him. Kyle was cruzing at about 55 mph when hit.
He was flown to the University of Maryland's "Shock Trauma" unit where he is in Critical but Stable condition.

Please say a prayer for him, he is ony 21 years old and has much to live for.

My son is on his way to the hospital now. The wife and I will probably make the two hour trip in the morning.

OMG, another sad news???
What's it with all the bad news???
And another jackass that doesn't see before pulling out.

My prayers are with you...I hope he pulls out of this.

Just got off the phone w/ my son.

No Head Trauma, but is still unconscious from the accident.
Broken Shoulder.
Broken Ankel.
Multiple deep lacerations all over his body, with a gash across the back of his Skull.

His Helment is broken and his bike is in about 30 pieces.

Lucky yo be alive.

Have to wait till he wakes up to perform other tests.

OMG...

He could had been dead on the spot if he didn't have his helmet. But was it a full face? I'm surprised that he still got head injuries with a helmet.

I hope he comes out of this OK and that tests show he's doesn't have complications.

It must be a great shock for your son too. My prayers will be with him and Kyle's family as well.

Thanks for the update.

What the hells was up with this weekend?!? I'm lucky I all had was a near miss.

Best wishes to Kyle and all those who have suffered this weekend. :(

Hope he pulls through OK . Mate of mine recently lost his leg in a bike accident. Hope the moron who did the t bone gets done by the cops big style.

My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Thank god he had on a helmet. It is probably what cut the back of his head but at least his brain is still intact.... I pray that he pulls through this ordeal and some thing good will come of it. GET WELL SOON!!!

The reconstructive ankel operation went well. His legs and arms look like a cheese grader attacked him. He is black and blue from head to toe. He has been transfered out of Shock Trauma to Maryland General for a few months of therapy.

That is good news! I'm glad he's on the way to recover although it may quite some time. At least, it's going in the right direction.

Thanks for the update. I've been thinking about how he's doing.

Even though I live on the Eastern Shore, I know exactly where you are talking, I sometimes drive to Anne Arundel country and come up that way....

Hope he pulls through okay!!!!
