Riddles which reflect wisdom?

I am looking for a couple of riddles which reflect wisdom rather then intelligence.
There are riddles like:

1. Your driving a bus from New York to Chicago. On this long trip, there were many stops. This is what happened on a few. 6 people got on, 3 people got off. 14 people got on, 12 people got off. 8 people got on 1 person got off and finally 7 people got on, 13 people got off. What color is the bus driver's eyes?

... which IMHO reflect intelligence.

But, sometimes there is need of widom like in a case of two mothers bickering over a child in front of a king and a king ordering for a child to be hacked in half. (and thus real mother letting the child to other woman and at the same time revealing herself as a real mother)
That's the type of riddles I am looking for. or, we may call them wisdom-related life situations.

I know a riddle

Q.What is as big as you are but weighs absolutly nothing?

A.a shadow

The latter isn't a riddle, it's a story from the Bible that only worked because the author got to pick the alleged mothers' responses; you're basically asking for open ended stories that you get to make up an ending for?

(the answer to the first one is brown, though it may change by the next response)
