I'm shocked and fearful. I am very concerned that my admissions to other most competitive colleges will be rejected, too, after knowing that my admission to Rice was denied.
Rice was not on my first list. It's a plan B. But now Plan B doesn't go as planned. I am very afraid that Plan A will go wrong, too.
Though Rice was not my first choice, it does feel totally hurt to read the rejection letter.
Please, encourage me or say something because I'm very confused now.
Any previous experiences that a student might be rejected from one school but accepted into another top schools?
I also applied to Johns Hopkins, Washington University in St Louis, Duke, and Yale.
I'm scared. I won a few national awards/recognitions along with full-ride scholarship from a private foundation. Rejected by Rice is a big question mark for me.
