Rib oven cooking how long do i cook it?

I put ribs in about 40mins ago at 8:40 (its now 9:14) how long should i cook them?. do i have to do anything like apply bbq sauce, if so when do i do that?
beef ribs they are in for about an hour now at 300
 
You didnt say what kind of ribs. Beef, pork, slab of ribs, individuals? What temperture is the oven?

The longer cooking time at a lower temperture the better. Low and slow if you can wait. If you cant, then go 30 more minutes assuming your oven is set at 320 to 350.

Put the bbq sauce on for the last 15 minutes.

When I do rib racks in the oven, I go 4 to 6 hours at 230 degrees.
