Which do you guys think is more effective in getting a message across? Personally, I find I'm much better at writing non rhyming poems, since whenever I attempt rhymes, it seems like my word choice gets really downgraded, and I have to use monosyllabic words to complete the rhyme. I find it really takes away from the meaning, which is annoying because I know there's good rhyming poems, but I just can't seem to make ones that don't seem childish. Any opinions or suggestions?
