Hi not sure how to title this, but wondering should I maybe see a rheumatologist doctor?Should I try going through comp or better to get referred by my regular doctor?

If you are having spine related problems you should first see an orthopedic spine surgeon or perhaps a neurosurgeon. If you have an inflammatory condition such as gout or rheumatoid arthritis then a rheumatologist can be the right choice.

Hi already been to see 2 neurosurgeons, one says a fusion with hardware, another says don't need a fusion, and hardware is not good cause its a problem later on.WC will not allow me to consult a ortho doctor.rest of my back is okay, only the L5 area disc has narrowed.so why getting weakness and pain in hanRAB?can't even open a bottle of milk.Same feeling in feet, yet using Flexiril and neurontin.
