my ordinary sentences? Where Lays the ROOTS of Terrorism?
A. Brands of terrorism
I never knew terrorism has a religion. I was of the opinion that terrorists do not belong to any religion. Only recently I came to know that terrorism too has a brand & religion and that is – Islam. After all it was Islamic Terrorists who master minded and blew the twin tower in US.
The series of blasts in London too has been done by Islamic Terrorists. However, going by the same standards, when I rummage through the brands of Terrorism I find that terrorists are in all religions. Their modus operandi (mode of operation) change depending upon the technology available to them but objective remains the same.
I am not an expert on the subject but I have tried to make a list of terrorist activities that have taken place in different corners of the world and masterminded by the terrorists of all the religion:-
1. Afghanistan War 2001 – Christian Terrorists.
2. Iraq War 2003 – Christian Terrorists.
3. Illegal Occupation of Palestine and killing of innocent children – Jewish terrorism with full support of ChristianTerrorists.
4. Pearl Harbor Attack- Buddhist terriost.
5. Genocide of Jews, world war II – Christian Terrorists.
6. Bombing of Hiroshima & Nagasaki – Christian Terrorists.
I know many have been rolling on fire by my above eye-opener. But did you ever realize how Muslims feel when Islam is attacked for no reason? Every religion propagates peace and harmony. Why act of some individuals bring bad name for religion? Of late there is a trend to brand terrorism on religious grounds. I find all religions are naked in this Bath of Terrorism. And all are equally hardcore criminals. Then Why Islam is demonized? Why Islamic Terrorists/jihadists term is used. It will be better to do some soul searching before pointing fingers on Islam. If Muslims killing in name of Jihad. Jews and Christians killing in name of expansion of their powers...Imperialism and colonialism. So, why Islam is to be prosecuted alone then?
"What business Americans or British have in Iraq? Why innocent people are killed in Iraq and Afghanistan every day? Why Innocent Palestinian children are being killed by Jews everyday?
Has anyone talked to the people whose relatives are in Abu-Gharib Jail in Iraq or in Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. Answer to these questions. Then qualify to make some judgment.
It is very easy to sit in cozy drawing rooms and pass verdict, like half illiterate and half educated scum.
My analysis is roots of terrorism lie in "Global Politics". It’s branded as "Terrorism in name of Political agendas & Hegemony.
question: can some one suggest any rthetorical devices in place of ordinary sentences?
for example allusion, understatement, Onomatopoeia, antimetabole, antithesis etc.
