bid back stronger? Hello, my name is ______
I was a student at NEU from Fall 2007 until the end of fall 2008. I decided to transfer from the NEU after 3 semesters to _____ because I felt that I wanted to be in a highly ranked biochemistry program, with a huge, involved band and larger campus. I won't deny that being closer to home and the in-state benefits appeared nice as well.
What I've realized since I've transferred is that wanting these things is one thing, having them is quite the other. The band program was TOO huge. I've discovered I truly miss the atmosphere and environment of playing with my friends in the student run pep band, or cheering with the student section in the Doghouse. I thought I could meet people through the bands here the same way I had at NEU, but instead I get yelled at for not having my trumpet perfectly parallel to the floor. This campus is enormous, and the few friends I have made here I rarely see due to it. And to cap it all off... I have no idea what branch of biochemistry I wish to go into, and there is nothing here that even compares to the co-op program at NEU for real life job experience to help me narrow down what career I wish to pursue. Sure the costs are down. I've also developed what has been classified by my counselor here as 'moderately severe depression'.
I was a strong student at NEU (3.57 GPA over 53 semester hours) and I hope that I haven't made too much of a mistake to fix what I've done. What can I possibly do to go back?

How does this look? What can I do short of adding in a page or two of begging to make them realize how desperate I am to go back?
