Pretty shape. Tart and sweet at the same time. The dried slices
concentrate the sweetness. Nice to try but mostly just really cool
looking.
If I'm going for a really cool looking fruit I'll take Buddha's Hand
Citron. Back when we lived in Los Angeles metro I had a tree growing in
my yard. Exotic shape. A citrus fruit that it nearly all rind. Aroma
so nice it serves as a room freshener. Zest that works much like any
other citrus zest. The rind is so mild it can be eaten, but once tired
there didn't seem much point to having more of it. Looks, aroma, zest
good, rind bland. Three out of four was not bad.
Citron tree, very pretty and the citron flower is sweet, but the fruit
of the poor citron is boring-dull to eat ...
The original song about lemons works better. ;^)
