retrolisthesis of 12mm - with pain in the back and pins and needles in my foot, 37year old male, have been active and sporty but not so anymore.
Is surgery the most likely option to get me fighting fit again?

I would definetly see a spine specialist to find out. Vertebrae are slipping over each other causing instability and as far as I know surgery is the best solution to stabilize the area, Take Care, Dee

Hello and welcome to the board, gordon...You will easily find that everyone here is more than willing to help you in any way they can! How long have you been suffering? Do you take any medication(s) for your condition? I agree with, dee. Thank you, in advance.

thanks for replying Dee, i appreciate your thoughts. I am being treated on my countries national health system so it will be some time before i see a specialist, i will let you know how it turns out, cheers!
