Retouch Damar Varnish over a VERY thinly painted oil painting? HEEELLP!?

I need 2 ship out a painting, and I JUST finishd it...its in OIL, I used VERY thin oil paint, and lots of Liquin and turp...it feels sticky, but fairly dry 2 the touch...
It has a uneven glossy/matt surface....can i use retouch on it ? the paint is sooooooo thin...will it still crack???UGH!!!! HELLPPP!!!
