Okay, I'm trying to create a resume I can use for multiple opportunities. I have a section called "key skills" and while I've been working since I was 11 It's hit me mine are awfully generic. There are some skills I may add depending on the job. For example if I apply for a childcare position I'll mention my many years doing just that. However, this is about the blanket list of skills I have so far. Looking for feedback as to how this sounds? Any advice?
Multi Tasking - I've had a fair amount of experience juggling more then one objective at a given time. I am capable of handling multiple goals and tasks at hand.
Problem solving- I have a determined attitude to solve whatever needs to be done. When necessary I'm not scared to ask for help . I feel it is crucial that mistakes be avoided if possible and I strive to that standard.
Excellent Customer Service (where applicable)- Having experience in retail I am accommodating, helpful, polite and kind to customers. When situations arise of difficult customers I am firm to keep an understanding tone and try my best that they leave happy.
Level Headed- I keep my emotions in check and handle work related stress appropriately. I make every effort to keep composure in whatever situation may arise. There is satisfaction in professionalism.
Now I'm stuck not sure what else to add. Should I somehow add in a professional way... I strive to get along with people? Don't like drama? I'm basically a blank canvas that wants to learn new things,I'm a creative person, I can handle constructive criticism but would adding the last one make me look bad? I want to stand out but I don't want to embellish or lie either.
