Okay, I guess I have to ask this again because people aren't reading the question.
The restraining order has been served, the court appearance is finished. Everything is done. I know I'm supposed to have a copy of the restraining order on me. What I want to know is what database does this information go in? If the person is pulled over, will the cop see on their record there is a restraining order against them? If a job does a background check, how does it show up? In other words, what happens to the info once it becomes official?
I'm not asking about what I do personally or anything having to do with my end. I'm asking how does the state make it official. Where does the official active restraining order info go. A database? Nowhere? In a drawer? This is in California.
Please, I asked this once and got a bunch of guesses despite my asking for PEOPLE WHO KNOW ONLY. I can guess myself. Thanks for any assistance.
