I am on my second week of taking 10 mgs of Celexa and almost everyday for a moderate amount of time I feel both physically and mentally agitated. I feel like I need to move but that no type or amount of movement will get rid of it. The mental agitation is sort of like irritability and aggravation, but is also just general mental restlessness. Can anyone else tell me your experience? I have heard that it can be a side effect. Is there anything to do for short term relief before you come off of the medication if that is what you are told to do?
Restlessness/agitation (akathisia) with antidepressants?
