I am going threw wd from pain pills. I have had several knee surgs and the restless legs and the knee pain is really getting to me. Does anyone have any advise on otc stuff to take are anything to do to help. I have read the detox plan and I have not been able to find the vitamins listed on there.

Are you taking vitamin E? That will help with the restless legs, at least it does me. Vitamin E 400IU.

You may have heard this before. If not it will sound a little crazy. Put a bar of soap in your sheets at the foot of your bed. My 84 year old mother swears by it and my husband and daughter have experienced relief from it. Give it a try - nothing to lose.

Hot baths--as hot as you can stand it--will help. Also putting epsom salts into the water adRAB to the effects on your legs. Take as many baths as you are able to take. I would wake up in the middle of the night to take baths for my legs.

ANother option that worked for me is hylanRAB brand leg cramp pills. I found those at many different stores and they worked great.

It's rough but the RLS should stop within a few days or so.

Hi, thanks everyone also from me as I am still having awful restless legs from "suboxone" withdrawl. I feel like I am almost through this withdrawl period of just over 3 weeks and when I think I am over it my legs will start getting restless and cramping and you feel like you are going to jump out of your skin again. I have read on these boarRAB that it comes and goes so I guess I expected it, but I just want it all to go away and I want to sleep!!!! I have been having lots of hot baths but didn't try the epsom salts just relaxing oils and bath salts which haven't done much. I will try the leg cramp pills for sure. Thanks for the info and hopefully everyone will have the best day that you can have. Take care Lyn:angel:
