Restless Body Sensations

I haven't slept for 4 nights. I feel jittery, anxious and restless all over my body. I feel like I'm on some kind of speed. Two weeks ago I had a subtotal hysterectomy and healing fine. Off of all pain meds. 4 nights ago this started and didn't get to sleep until 3:30am, the next night 2:30am, last night 2:30am, but tonight...no sleep at all. This is terrible. I'm not bad enough to go to the E.R. but my breathing is sort of shallow/can't get enough O2 in. My stomach is kind of sour, neck is tense, twitching legs like crazy...I always do that, but it's gotten worse. I doubled up on my Ambien 6.25mg last night, no luck. Took my Lorazepam .05mg (sparingly), no luck. Is this Menapause weirdness? WTH. I'm calling my M.D today but I am greatful for any advice.

Maybe post surgical hyperthyroid?

Are you taking any corticosteroids? (insomnia and jitteriness are common side effects)

 Here's hoping you've already seen your doc and have gotten some shut eye!

Saw M.D., says crawling skin could be related to Percoset...I guess, withdrawal...scarey. He also says that for my surgery they had to inflate me with gas and that those gases are still being released...great, more gas...j/k. Anyway, he advises that I take my Ambien 6.25mg every night at the same time for 5 days to reestablish my routine. No sleep takes me back 20+ years, so hopefully I'll be ok in 5 days.
