Restaurants within 2 blocks of MAD Museum Columbus Circle NYC?

We are taking my parents to the MAD Museum at Columbus Circle NYC. My mom can only walk a block, maybe 2.

We'd like to take them to brunch or lunch at a nice (not expensive, but pretty) restaurant but I am having a hard time pinning down some choices on the Internet.

Does anyone have any suggestions or maybe specific blocks I can look on?

We don't want to start with Subways or Busses. We want an easy, contained, not expensive afternoon.

Oops, forgot to add one detail. There will be 12 of us so we want to pick the restaurant in advance so we can meet there and hopefully have reservations. Thanks!

there's a great whole foods at columbus circle downstairs from the time warner building. they have every choice under the sun. it's choose what you want,pay and sit at tables that are set up. the variety of foods is fantastic and the place is like a food museum, you'll love it, enjoy!
