Okay so, I am a strong believer in protecting animal rights, and habitat protection. I just had someone come into my office and start a debate with me about how I was morally wrong for eating some meats but not other types. My argument was based that people shouldn’t eat endangered animals, that each animal is part of a large chain and if one link was to break it could mean a chain reaction of species could become endangered as well.
So back and forth it went covering a wide spectrum until he claimed there was a few restaurants in New York that serve endangered animals, ie. Gorilla meat, wild cats etc. Is this true? If so how can that be legal when the hunting of these animals is prohibited?
I dont eat meat so i wouldnt know how its "harvested".
the fact that you harvest living animals seems a bit extreme- people should consume less meat and more veggies. then Americans wouldn't be so fat.
