I was eating lunch at the bar at a cheesecake factory restaurant, I dropped a knife. It was obvious and loud. I asked the bartender for another knife A guy next to me stood up, grabbed it off the floor and slammed it next to me and said here, you dropped this. Acting as if I were rude when he was totally off base by all the rules. I feel the opposite when I see someone drop something and pick it up and ever worse, use the item. I've never had the nerve to tell them.. ettiquette is that you don't do that. I cringe when I see this and wonder if people actually think I'm wrong.
