Believe me, I know how horrible some breeders can be : backyard, carelessness, and puppymill breeders are terrible.
I know to buy from a reputable and experienced breeder, but what if -
after I have done all of my research about breeding and the breed I would like to breed, know all of the costs, and plan to do all necessary health testing, would it then be alright for me to breed a dog?
I would make sure that the parents are both healthy, great representations of the breed and will go above and beyond to make sure the puppies are healthy and happy. I would also interview potential buyers and do a house check and make them fill out an application.
All experienced breeders have to start somewhere, right?
I am looking for opinions of this, and please give reasons for your answers.
