Resident Evil 5, buy bullets?

Is there a way to buy bullets for like the shotgun and the magnum? I know I can buy bullets for the grenade launcher, but I can't seem to buy other bullets?

Also does anybody know how to unlock the last outfit? One outfit is unlocked after I pass the game (at least I can buy it from Bonus items) but I wanted to unlock the last one so I can buy that!
 
I found that the only way to buy bullets is to upgrade the capacity of a gun while it has no ammo in it. Once it is upgraded it will give you that amount of bullets in the gun.
