Reset radio in a Suzuki.?

I just bought a 2005 Suzuki aerio and the radios anti theft has been activated because the battery died. I called the dealership and they said when someone purchases the car new they set a password and it's really expensive to send it to the dealership to have them reset it, does anyone know how to get around it or reset it? Thanks for your help
