COMPETENCE TEST AND A U.S. GOVERNME? AN AMENDMENT TO REQUIRE THAT PERSONS RUNNING FOR FEDERAL PUBLIC OFFICE PASS A U.S. HISTORY COMPETENCE TEST AND A U.S. GOVERNMENT AND CONSTITUTION COMPETENCE TEST
1.****BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
2.****Section 1. In order to assure the American people that their elected public officers
3.******** **************have an adequate knowledge of the U.S Constitution, U.S. History, and
4.******** **************U.S. Government, it is hereby declared that each candidate for an
5.**********************elected federal office must pass a U.S. Citizenship Exam.***
7.***Section 2.*The testing program shall apply to persons running for President of the*****
8.******** **************United States, Vice President of the United States, the United States
9.******** **************Senate, or the United States House of Representatives.
10. Section 3. A. The test for U.S. History shall be the U.S. Citizenship Exam as administered by the*******************
11.******************* Department of Immigration which shall report results to the Federal Election Commission.******** *****
12.******************** B.* The testing requirements shall take effect with the November 2012
13.**** *********************elections.
