...Obama's popularity? The Health Care bill is going to pass, and is set to be signed by the president by October, shortly after the upcoming congressional recess.
I keep hearing things like "Oh it's just going to be socialized medicine" and "our taxes will go up" and so on, let me ask you this:
Don't you think Obama and the democrats are aware that it would be political suicide to pass a plan like the one your predicting?
Don't you think their going to want to pass something that is high quality coverage and little or no tax increases, so that Obama's approval rating will skyrocket and the democrats will gain in the 2010 midterms?
I don't know why the republicans expect the democrats to willingly commit political suicide by passing some cheap socialized plan, they wont.
Call me cynical, but I think they are enjoying their majority and don't want to loose that majority, wouldn't you agree?

Special Unicorn: ACORN is watched like a hawk now, every single move they make is known. And I HAVE read up on the bill and there are more republicans (On capital hill) supporting it then there are democrats opposing it. Why? Because when the health care problem is solved for the first time in the nations history, they don't want to be known as the ones trying to prevent it.
Zinger 2: What an intelligent, mature response to my statement. I'm glad that your on the opposition. And when lower income Americans buy into the government plan, it will pay for itself. It's not "Free" as Obama has stated since he was campaigning against Hillary.
