Republicans, how do you justify the largest income gap in the history of the U.S.?

Never has there been such a huge gap between the rich and the poor in the U.S. the top 4% income earners own around 60-80% of everything in America. And yet despite this, the rich pay only 17-19% in taxes while the middle class gets hit with 30-38% in taxes. (the very poor pay only 17-19%, also)

To me, thats a bit ridiculous. Care to explain why the Republicans for nearly 30 years have supported tax cuts to only the rich?
