Repost: What is more important when discussing human rights violations: "civility" or the violation itself?

For example, were/are feminists "civil" to their opponents when they fight/fought to end FGM everywhere in the world? I don't think so. Nor should they be. That is one of those occasions that I admire and applaud feminists because involuntary FGM is an obvious and fundamental human rights violation. They were/are very in-your-face about it and should be applauded for it.

So, when waging this same battle to end involunatary MGM, another obvious fundamental human rights violation, why should MRAs be "civil"? (other than hypocritical reasons).

Repost for the evening crowd.
