Repossession of Motorcycle Never Took Place, is bike mine?

My son has a motorcycle in his possession that he has failed to make the payments in over a year and a half. The bank threatened to repossess but never did. The title obviously still has a lien on it by the bank, however he is filing bankruptcy and this creditor is on the list. If they fail to pick up the bike (which they probably wont), would the bankruptcy discharge papers be enough to clear the title so he could possibly sell this motorcycle? I'm tired of looking at it in my driveway. It's only got about 300 miles on it. He bought it on a whim being young and stupid, but could really not afford it.
