Report on the Aztec civilization?

I am doing a report on the Aztec civilization for history. I got as far as the introduction and now I am stuck. Can you guys tell me what sorts of things I should write? As in certain topics. I started to write about the how the soil on their island was perfect for growing crops. Then I realized that was pish posh. Help me?
