I MAY be buying a Suzuki RM250 off a friend, but i'm not much of a fan of the yellow plastics, do you think i could take the stickers off, spray paint the plastics, red and then buy some stickers i like, and put them on?? I prefer red because of Honda CR250, but i can't afford one of them :(
Does anybody know any other way i could do this, or even better, a better design method!

You can do this if you use krylon paint for plastics. You'll need to buff them well and be very clean or it will flake off. You'll probably need to repaint every few years as well. You could look around for existing body panels on ebay or the web that might fit and have better colors. Stickers are pretty easily available.
If you're very motivated you can build new panels, just take the old ones and make a styrofoam or plaster mold, then modify it keeping the bolt patterns the same. then get some fiberglass, 20 square feet will be plenty, spray mold releasse on the mold, cut and lay the fiberglass on with resin, let it dry paint and put it on. I've used this method to repair a brokenfairing and it worked great but it takes time and patience.
