Never replaced a head unit before. How is it that I go about replacing it? I've read a couple websites about replacing head units, and they all talk about messing with wires and stuff. Is there a easy way to go about it replacing it?

If you could direct me to a place where I can get some easy to follow instructions also! Thanks.

Ok first thing is first instalation is easy it usually takes more time and work to take the dash apart to get the head unit out. Now with that being said If i remember right some fords need release pins to get the stock head unit out,, ( if this is already done and the ranger has an aftermarket in it disregard this part). The wires are all collor coated and some are marked with a black stripe on them ie.... green with black stripe and just green. usually the black stripes means the negative wire. So just strip and splice if u choose to use connectors or black tape or whatever they have out there is up to u. U will need to get a mounting kit and wiring harness too unless there is already an after market in the ranger. If u have any more questions email me and good luck.
