replacing engine on a car do you have to change ALL the parts?

say if I wanted a camaro and put a big block chevy in it, does that mean that the aftermarket exhaust from flowmaster (Hooker headers, engine mounts, air intake) won't fit?

just an example^^^
so would I have to find parts that coordinate with that engine, or could I still use stock parts?
And does replacing an engine with one with higher torque and hp mean you have to replace the tranny?
say if i wanted to put a bigger small block in it. 350 to 383? would all the parts still fit?

and with the big block, how would i go about finding parts to fit the BBC

Nothing from the small block will fit the big block. You'll have to buy motor mounts, headers, maybe a radiator The transmission from the small block won't bolt to the big block and wouldn't last if ot would. With the right parts it's a pretty simple swap. No cutting on the car.

if your going from small block chevy to big block chevy nothing is going to fit from the small block, I would at least have the transmission beefed up and you will need an adapter plate to fit it to the big block and you will also have to beef up the suspension due to the extra weight of the big block, honestly unless you are making a drag car I would not put a big block in my camaro its to heavy and will handle terrible, you would be better off building your small block to pull some ponys
